**HAPPENING NOW** Come visit us at the Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies Opening Reception! We're showing off the Aerodyne Research multi-sample selector for soil gas mapping.
Looking forward to Joanne Shorter's talk today at the Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies meeting discussing soil gas measurements in following irrigation and fertigation. This highlights an amazing collaboration between scientists from Aerodyne Research and Laura Meredith's group. 10:45 am, room 276
#ACSMtg Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies At 1045 Joanne will be presenting Linking Real-Time Subsurface Measurements of Nitrogen Species and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) with the Soil Microbiome: Responses to Fertilization and Irrigation Events in Room 276. Abstract: bit.ly/478QjVP
3/3 At 930 tomorrow morning Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies #ACSMtg we also have our own Rob Roscioli presenting "New Approaches to Measuring Soil Nitrogen and Carbon Cycling Intermediates with High Spatial and Temporal Resolution" in Room 262. Abstract here: bit.ly/3Sg2ZpV
30 minute warning for Rob Roscioli talk in Room 262: New Approaches to Measuring Soil Nitrogen and Carbon Cycling Intermediates with High Spatial and Temporal Resolution! He and his colleagues will also be available in Booth 321 for any questions until 6 pm Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies #ACSMtg
Thanks to all at Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies #ACSMtg for stopping by the booth. If you still have unanswered questions, please reach out to us. See you next year in San Antonio!
Back to basics! We borrowed a classic Bausch + Lomb Spec-20 from a local high school to measure concentrations of dyes delivered by a prototype NIFA-funded liquid sampling system for Aerodyne Research Vocus and TILDAS instruments. Fired right up and was running in minutes!
And Rob Roscioli will be presenting “Measuring subsurface hydrogen sources and sinks with high spatiotemporal resolution” during the AM #AGU23 poster session. Abstract here: bit.ly/3TjLdTe
Meredith Lab at Aerodyne Research training with Anita Avery on our new GC-PTR/AIM-TOF-MS . Excited for lots and lots of upcoming soil VOC science!! And maybe some ❄️angels 🥶 Marshall Ledford Parker Geffre Dr. Gemma Purser
Gave an invited talk last year to Novo Nordisk Foundation on our innovative soil N2O sensing platform w/ Aerodyne Research and was curious how it contributed to their mission. Stopped by Copenhagen HQ today for nice conversations
Exciting news for one of our BIO5 Postdoctoral Fellows, Gemma Purser Dr. Gemma Purser! She was awarded an University of Arizona Research internal grant that will help expand her research on understanding the dynamics of volatile organic compounds in the soil. Read more: bit.ly/3VSfyt1
New paper out in Journal of Molecular Evolution with Laura Meredith. doi.org/10.1007/s00239… Using chemoinformatics tools to identify organic trace gases cycled by early life 🌍🦠👀.
Together with TOFWERK , Ryan Ward and Haroula Baliaka deployed an Aerodyne Research ACSM & a Vocus-Eiger at ASCENT Network Pico Rivera to characterize the sources and formation pathways of PM2.5 in LA. Thinking about highres NH3 & HNO3...? Try our TILDAS! tofwerk.com/understanding-…
