So when you think you’re invincible because you’ve gone this whole time working with covid and you’ve never caught it to then testing positive today 😢 so frustrated with myself but look on the bright side, I’ll build some antibodies for a while.

Tonight we lit up Ysbyty Glan Clwyd ⁦Betsi Cadwaladr⁩ in yellow for the day of reflection 1 year after the first UK lockdown. An opportunity for our staff to reflect on the most challenging year of our careers and to remember those colleagues, family and friends 💛💛

Excuse the toes but this year has been a write off for me so far! Diagnosed with long covid, fractured 2 toes and possible scaphoid bone and now a possible big toe 2! X-ray in the morning before my echo, as they have also found changes on an ECG since having covid 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s that part of qualifying when you have to do your first revalidation 😳 so I kinda thought it was pretty straight forward. I’m not due to send it in until November but if you have it ready sooner can it go in?

Meet the newest addition to the Evans household, Buddy! I absolutely adore him and he’s such a mummies boy 💙

So I’m on a bit of a WeightLoss journey! For the past 14 years my weight has fluctuated and now I’m pre-diabetic, so with permission from my Dr I have started Saxenda.bkk and I have lost 2 stone in 6 weeks. Got a long way to go yet but I’m feeling so much healthier already

Buddy’s first day on the beach and he loved it 💙 the size of him and he was barking at bigger dogs, he tickled me. One man asked me if he was fully grown 🤣 I wish he could stay this tiny and cute but he still has some growing to do. It’s those floppy ears that get me 😍

This has broken my heart! Without our students we’d be nowhere. Kindness costs nothing 💔

So since the 11/1/22 I have lost a total of 2 stone. I am excited to begin my gym membership on Monday as the doctor has kindly set that up for me. I am now fitting back into clothes that I hadn’t since last year so all in all I’m finally beginning to feel positive 💖

This little man has made a real impact on me since coming home with me in February. He’s like my little child, getting me up in the night for wee wees. I think I should have either named him shadow because he is mine or gizmo because of his ears but Buddy suits him 💙 #merle
