I’m on a facebook group & people just can’t over the closure of a mall from 1973-where I dropped a ton of quarters into the pinball machines. Although nostalgia is fine, trying to bring back the old days just doesn’t seem like a good way to spend your time. Full speed ahead!

Custom merch sure has come a long way in my 45 years in the industry. Retail brands, full color sublimation and cool items change the perception from giveaway to gifts. #ppai

Anytime when given a choice of whether to do an activity outside by norm or not, I calculate how many weeks left in my life & it becomes a no-brainer. At 63 years old, I’m wishfully counting down 1000 more weekends left. Putting a finite number changes your goals & perspective.

Interesting how trends in water bottles shift so quickly. For 2 years straight, it was Stanley as #1 bottle. Now for the past 2 years it is the Owala brand. I think it has become purely influencer driven at this point: geektechbranding.com/owala.htm #branding #MarketingTips

10 years ago it was like pulling teeth to get customers to even consider offering recycled and sustainable branded merch to their clients. Now it is pretty much a no-brainer and the selections, quality & durability have all improved immensely. geektechbranding.com/eco-products.h… #branding

High end, boutique apparel and bags are now over 15% of promotional spend. It used to be perceived as low cost tote bags, trinkets and t-shirts. Now, people are willing to pay more for better quality and retail looks.

Alex Lieberman Followers do not always equate to biz/sales. I have colleagues on all ends of the spectrum. Quality vs Quantity is also effective. I concern myself with quality leads -- everything else is just another metric...or even just simply vanity.

Companies that worry about the small & insignificant stuff often are the same ones that miss the bigger opportunities. Pettiness is also a great way to drive off great talent at any firm.

Recycled merch is having a major moment. ♻️ Over the past 18 months, we've seen a massive surge in requests for sustainable chargers, backpacks, audio & apparel. Designs are finally hitting that "retail-quality" sweet spot. This isn't a trend; it's a permanent shift in branding.

Went to a dept store at lunch and got fitted & bought a suit &shirt, properly sized & measured-in under 20 minutes. Dealing with a professional in any circumstance(Saif has been in the suit biz for 30+ years) not only saves you time and effort, but it leaves a positive feeling.

Always do the one thing that needs someone else's time & attention first-then work from there. We do tons of overseas merch orders that are invariably waiting on quotes for product, freight & tariffs-so we get those taken care of by early AM or night prior. Saves a ton of time.

Are any marketers seeing a bump in sales or requests for #America250 merch yet? After discussing with many others in the biz, this special event has not seen to caught fire yet. Thoughts?

After reading the Cesar Chavez news, it seems gov't, universities and biz should not name buildings, holidays, awards, roads, etc. after living people -- and may be better served naming them after birds, landmarks, colors, etc.

Those fuzzy little Labubus will have their own major motion picture coming out. Marketers, what is stopping you from creating a retail frenzy that catches on like this? bbc.com/news/articles/…

The power of #merch I have a buddy who just bought a new Porsche Cayenne, and he was almost as excited about his free key fob as he was about the car itself.

Most shippers are adding a TEMPORARY fuel surcharge. Biggest problem with these temporary fees is that they soon become PERMANENT as market conditions improve. #expenses #fuelcosts

We’ve been providing clear supply chain traceability for clients for the past 8+years. Not understanding your audience or target market can take away all the positive goodwill from an event, movement or program. All merch is not created equally. Ask questions!
