We can’t say this enough. If people think it’s so easy to fake a disability and fraudulently claim disability benefits then they should go ahead and prove it. Disability benefits are notoriously difficult to get and the process is frustrating, humiliating,exhausting and designed

The disability benefits system here in the UK is designed to be as harmful as possible to deny people support, and keep them fighting for the bare minimum instead of true equity. It's cruelty and oppression by design.

This Labour government did not have to go after disabled people. They could have chosen to just focus on the real issues, and ignore all the noise. They could have been different to the Tories and not pander to Reform. But instead, they chose to target the most vulnerable.
