Every time I watch It’s A Wonderful Life I never fail to cry, and then I think of this as Lynch himself swells up in tears. Rest in Peace.

Solid reminder here from Robbie. Start to plan your pubs carefully. Do you really need to go out this weekend? If so, take precautions.

criminal defense attys don’t ask to be relieved because of guilt. common reasons are: 1. payment issues 2. breakdown in communication or hostile actions from the client 3. the client asking atty to commit criminal acts or ethics violations

I pay an extra 15% tax each month because I went to university. Now I’m in my 30s, I’m seeing more clearly how our student loans system helps widen, not close, the gap.. Your parents’ income at the time you go to uni makes a big difference to your future financial security.

Have said this before but these analyses always exclude tuition fees, which are a de facto income tax for everyone but the richest graduates. My top rate of income tax is 55%, not 40%, and it will continue to be until I turn 55.

This is an essential read for anyone involved in NAI cases. I was fortunate to be before an attentive & experienced judge that fully supported my right for M to cross examine the experts. This was the consequence of that respect for the parents Art 6 & 8 rights. Family reunited.

Dual income pensioners bringing in sub £70k will receive a winter fuel stipend. Bizarre when you consider graduates/millennials/young families will earn far less (thank you stagnating wages) and receive no help. Is this policy designed to help people, or to appease the press?

This hellscape of an app has has been lovely for the last 24 hours, as everyone unites in lovely tributes to Brian Wilson and dunking on pitchfork writers.
