Haul of historic postcards of Aston Hall (astonhallmuseum), dating from the 1900s to the 1980s. It's fascinating to see how, despite the building and spaces remaining more or less the same, the displays and interpretation of the museum changed over the decades.

Took a few hours off this afternoon to visit Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery’s collection centre. As a trustee, it was amazing to see the vast collection of art (&history) the centre holds, over 1 million pieces! The trust is truly the most valuable cultural asset our city has, please support it ❤️
