The Thriving Greenspaces team The City of Edinburgh Council together with an Architect and Landscape Architect, and with support from our team, have developed proposals for an ‘activity hub’ on the bowling green area of the Links. A consultation on the proposals has gone live today.

Finally got this finished! Abandoned the original plan for the top and went with reclaimed scaffolding boards. I also needed to add some more support so it wouldn't collapse! Made possible by E'burgh Tool Library 's workshops and tools.

It's quite amazing what New York has managed to achieve for safe cycling, with very little material change.

Thinking about this traffic light setup on the outskirts of Edinburgh, wondering why we don't use something similar to prioritise buses through pinch points inside Edinburgh. Detect queuing traffic, hold it back to allow buses through.

Update on this - she got back on her bike today and cycled to work along CCWEL. Safe cycle infrastructure matters.
