#RMSA Week, we conducted a health education at E.S. Butare. Adolescents were engaged on Sexual and Reproductive Health and preventing unwanted pregnancies. The session aimed to equip them with accurate, life-saving information to make informed and responsible health decisions.

Today, Rwanda Midwifery Students Association (RMSA) held a successful community health session at Matyazo Health Center. The focus was on completing all 8 ANC contacts and safe maternal health practices. We also addressed prevention of non-communicable diseases during and after pregnancy.

RMSA Week , (Day 6) brings the excitement of our Mass Sports Event from UR Huye Campus to the Gisagara border. We call on all RMSA members and partners to show up, get active, and stand with us as we promote healthy lifestyles and vibrant community spirit.

International Nurses Day 2025, we, had the honor of attending a two-day Nursing Symposium held on May 11–12, 2025, at UR Remera Campus and Lemigo Hotel. The event was a powerful platform for learning, sharing, and reflecting on our vital role in the healthcare system.

The RMSA warmly invites everyone to participate in a free NCDs (Non-Communicable Diseases) screening session at Acornum Health Center For free screening and awareness on common NCDs such as: ✅ High Blood Pressure ✅ Diabetes ✅ Obesity ✅ Other lifestyle-related conditions

RMSA successfully held an NCDs screening event today at Acornum Health Center. Participants were screened for conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. Health education on healthy behaviors to prevent NCDs was also provided.

We are pleased to inform you that RMSA have participated in the outcome harvesting meeting held today at Centric Hotel, Remera, which focused on the use of social media in advocating for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), specific emphasis on safe abortion.

RMSA is organizing a general NCDs screening at Cornum Health Center on 18 June 2025 from 8:00 AM. The event is open to all and includes screening for conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity, along with free health education on healthy behaviors.

RMSA conducted a free diabetes focused NCDs screening at Cornum Health Center, where out of 30 participants, 15 had normal results, 10 were at risk, and 5 showed high blood sugar levels. The public is encouraged to exercise regularly and reduce sugar intake to prevent diabetes.

We successfully conducted an antenatal care outreach at Bugesera Health Center in partnership with its midwives, focusing on educating and supporting pregnant women, promoting safe motherhood, and strengthening student-midwife collaboration to improve maternal health.

Delegated Members of RMSA completed a two-day leadership training organized by RNMU. The training focused on leadership, advocacy, communication, and ethics, and It aimed to empower future midwifery leaders in Rwanda.
