A few months ago, our wonderful library media teacher, Ms. Liz, inspired by the book Hair Love by Matthew Cherry and also inspired by the diversity in our community, proposed capturing the beauty of some of our Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students and their hair through photos.

This evening the participants of the Hair Love exhibit and their families gathered to celebrate their breathtaking photos.

It is so important to us that all our students and their families feel seen, heard, and celebrated and our hope is that these wonderful photos hung up on the walls of our building will support that in many ways! #RMMSNL #ibworldschool #wearelearn
