New slogan from England and Wales Cricket Board for womens cricket is “We got game” - I am sorry but who comes up with this incomprehensible crap? Indefensible. Previous slogans like “This girl can” were inspirational but this is just dumb

At Chelmsford hoping to watch Root bat, Yorkshire win toss and decide to bowl first with 3 best bowlers all out injured. ???? Cooky settling in for a big knock. #essexvyorks

Off to Wembley today with the Blades, odd to be going to a game with zero expectations of having a shot let alone scoring! Hoping this tweet doesn’t age well Sheffield United

So Sheffield United we go up to the Premier League and we sell our best 2 players just before the start of the season! Must be so demoralising for the remaining players. You could argue we are protecting our future financial viability but that’s a depressing strategy!

Tremendous end to the season for our Women’s First XI as they win Division 1 of Home Counties Women's Cricket League and get promoted back to the Premier League. Congrats to everyone who played this season
