Exciting day today. Confirmed I’ll soon be dropping 2 days at Peterhouse school and picking up 2 via locum work in the Salford NHS team. Excited to get some new experiences and for the 10 minute commute (rather than 1-1.5hrs!) 😊#mysltday

Highlight of the day was a functional communication session in the community with a young man. We’ve been practising using “where” in sentence and we nailed it with “where are the dvds?” in a charity shop. We chose Thunderbirds. #mysltday

Today was a toughie. Impromptu meeting with a parent about PECS, emergency visuals required for a students last minute change to home routine, an aac iPad gone rogue, lunch duties, phonecalls and a music aided communication session 😳 #MySLTDay
