On 4 February 2026, a familiarization visit to Makkah for Consuls General was organized by the Jeddah branch of the وزارة الخارجية 🇸🇦 at the invitation of the الهيئة الملكية لمدينة مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة. The visit focused on the city’s development plans and key infrastructure projects.
