एक NPS, पर दो पेंशन! एक सरकारी बैंककर्मी और दूसरा केंद्र सरकार में, दोनों की बेसिक सैलरी 40k और दोनों NPS में, पर किसी दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना में जान चली जाये तो उनके परिवार को पेंशन मिलेगी: बैंक कर्मचारी - ₹5,188 सरकारी कर्मचारी - ₹20,000 + DA आखिर ये असमानता क्यों है! 👇

केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के पास सर्विस के दौरान मौत होने और इनवैलिडेशन/विकलांगता/लापता होने के मामले में डिस्चार्ज/रिटायरमेंट होने पर उनका NPS पेंशन OPS में बदलने का प्रावधान होता है।

दुर्घटना के बाद अगर केंद्रीय कर्मचारी, OPS चुनते हैं, तो कर्मचारियों का NPS योगदान और उस पर मिलने वाला रिटर्न कर्मचारी के परिवार को दिया जाता है। पर विभाग का योगदान और उस पर मिलने वाला रिटर्न विभाग को वापस मिल जाता है और कर्मचारी के परिवार को OPS स्कीम के अनुसार पेंशन मिलती है।

लेकिन सरकारी बैंकों में, बैंकर्स के पास सिर्फ़ NPS होता है, मौत होने पर ऐसी कोई स्कीम को लागू नहीं किया जाता। ऐसे में अगर नौकरी की अवधि कम होती है तो पर्याप्त NPS फण्ड जमा नहीं कर पाते और NPS रिटर्न भी कम रहता है, और पेंशन की रकम भी कम रहती है, ये परिवार के लिए नाकाफी होता है।
