We removed a HUGE amount of unsafe items from light poles in River Park's off-leash area. It took almost 3 hrs. If you hang posters in the park, please remove the staples, push pins, tacks & nails to ensure no dog gets hurt. Thanks for your consideration. #yycdogs #yycdogparks

We scrubbed the fountain and dog bowls today. Several very helpful dogs lent a paw too! To reduce health risks, please discourage your dog from peeing on the fountain and in the dog bowls. Thanks for your consideration.

New gravel for the fountain! To reduce user disruption, we tried to do the work at night but we underestimated the amount needed & had to get more. Finished the next day. Sorry to all you puppers who enjoy a mud bath. Contrary to what you think, mud does not beautify your fur!

June 8, 2024 - Lost and Found A man's wallet was found on the trail at River Park. Driver's License - male; Christopher H. It will be taken to the District 2 - Rosscarrock police station sometime tomorrow.

Fountain Use Alert The City of Calgary will likely remove water bowls at River Park. Pls bring a bottle or a collapsible bowl for your dog. More details: facebook.com/share/p/ZsXVKC… When Stage 4 water restrictions go into effect on Aug 26, we expect the water will be turned off.

Aug 23 | 7pm Lost Dog Young black Shepherd mix breed dog (black & brown with some white) wearing a blue collar spotted loose on 26th Ave & 33 St SW. Skittish. Please keep an eye out for him.
