Year 8 Geographers enjoyed field work around Bowness. The objective was to explore the impact of human activity & tourism in a post-glacial landscape. They recorded footfall and registered noise pollution and enjoyed a trip on the ferry to view glacial landforms! Ripley Geography

Today we are supporting #WearItGreenDay for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2024. Staff & pupils have been encouraged to wear green accessories to show their support. Y9 pupils participated in a mental health themed assembly with words of support from young fundraiser Oli O'Connell.

A couple of weeks ago, our Y13 Geographers enjoyed a glorious visit 🌞 to Ribblehead in the Yorkshire Dales and to Heysham coastal defences. They covered topics from A level Physical Geography in water and carbon cycle along with coastal defences. Ripley Geography
