Well, I am glad I was in NYC today because being far from the boys while the world was shaking would have made me lose my mind.

As soon as my oldest got access to his phone after school he started texting in CAPITAL LETTERS asking 'MAMI, ARE YOU OK? TEXT NOW'

Regular sunglasses, polarized or otherwise, are not a safe replacement for solar eclipse glasses.

You can find free solar eclipse glasses across at NYC Public Library (NY Public Library) locations across the city.

Remember, it’s not safe to look directly at the sun! 🙈

I have had my own interactions that are terrifying with my son, and the world we live in does not understand nor has the capacity to understand at this time just how deep this runs. We need real time down to earth conversations as equals, bc burying babies IS NOT IT 🛑✋🏽🚫👎🏽🙏🏽

Flags are at half-staff on all state buildings today in honor of Officer Jonathan Diller.

His heroism and dedication to protecting New Yorkers will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with his family, loved ones, and the NYPD as they grieve this senseless loss.
