New paper! When we metabarcode a bottle of arthropods, we get a lot of sequences. But in many regions most species have not been barcoded before, so there is nothing to match to and we find unknown species. Then what? Introducing BayesANT: besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/20…
Instead of playing Sudoku, as most people usually do on their vacations, this year I entertained myself with "karmic dice." I wrote a blog post here: tommasorigon.github.io/blogpost/karmi… I don't know if this will ever interest Larian Studios and Baldur's Gate 3, but who knows!
