Attention to personal mental health does not = weakness. I’m concerned about the mental health of people who are asserting that it does.

As you likely know, today the CDC recommended those who are vaccinated WEAR A MASK in areas with high community spread. That includes most of the US. Here is a map from NYT of cases per capita. As it shows, odds are, you live in an area that has seen a recent spike in cases.

The limit of 4 tests/household disproportionately affects people who share living costs/have roomates, and multi-generation households. The address requirement also leaves unhoused people without testing. There should be no limit, and more methods to access free tests.

This prevents *a lot* of people from accessing the free COVID-19 test kits. I live in a major city and this will impact tens of thousands (minimum), especially traditionally marginalized and underrepresented populations. They need to fix this! #publichealth #DEI
