‼️🏃‍♀️COUNTY LEAGUE ATHLETICS @ ST ALBANS TODAY AFTER SCHOOL🏃‍♂️‼️ Today the athletics season continued where we travelled to St Albans💪. We attended this afternoon which was held at Westminster Lodge in St Albans which saw Sandringham, St Georges and Queenswood in attendance👏.

‼️🔗YEAR 7 CONNECT PROGRAMME🔗‼️ Ridgeway Academy has received a substantial amount of funding in order to run a range of different programmes; the Year 7 CONNECT programme is the first, with the rest to follow in the 2021-22 academic year😁💪.

Ridgeway Academy have arrived at Ridlins Stadium in Stevenage for District Athletics today💪🏃. We have had many county competitions throughout the year but this is now the chance to compete against our local schools👏. Come on Ridgeway!👍

‼️🏃‍♀️DISTRICT ATHLETICS 2021🏃‍♂️‼️ Our athletics season concluded today with the District Athletics at Stevenage against all of our local secondary schools😢💪. The event was all day, meaning it was a tiring and long but great day for our athletes and all of our staff👍.

‼️PANSHANGER SPORTS DAY‼️ Well done to these Year 8&9 Sports Leaders who represented Ridgeway Academy today at Panshanger Sports Day👏. In the morning, the leaders officiated 2 turbo cricket games for Year 2 and 3 where the students were competing for their house groups🏏🏵.

‼️🔗YEAR 7 CONNECT PROGRAMME: WEEK 4🔗‼️ Week 4 of the Year 7 CONNECT Programme took place after school today, with the CONNECT Leaders working on the key theme of trust and communication through a range of activities including trust falls and trust tunnels💪🤝🎗.

‼️👋GOODBYE MISS DIGWEED AND MR CAROLAN🎗‼️ As we reach the end of yet another school year, we say goodbye to 2 members of the PE Department who are moving on, both for promotions - Miss Digweed and Mr Carolan.

So happy to be awarded Young Coach of the Year for Hertfordshire Cricket 🏏 still working hard to inspire women & girls to play the game!🙌
