Tried the new roast offering at Bank today. Sourdough focaccia with whipped cod’s roe, miso & sesame was a very good snack, followed by a very tender sirloin with braised oxtail, crème fraiche horseradish & a delicious red wine gravy. Keen to try more of their menu after this!

A first visit to Picole from the team @tarebristol Favourite was the rosti w/ truffle mayo & Montgomery cheese. Trout w/apple, labneh & dill, sun dried tomato & mozzarella arancini, boquerones & tomatoes w/cashew curd,basil & hazelnuts,duck parfait on brioche & summer plum all👌🏼

Another excellent dinner @tarebristol - lobster cannelloni w/ tempura kohlrabi & scallop XO was excellent, as was the shiitake/celeriac/whey/hazelnut dish. Wine flight on a Wednesday night resulted in a long Thursday morning 😅

Incredible wine tasting experience Babylonstoren to kick off my South Africa road trip. The same owners as The Newt in Somerset & lots of similarities between the two locations (not the weather). Beautiful grounds & kitchen garden. The produce here is incredible!
