WORDWATCH "anticronym" = doubling the usage of a word within an acronym--as in "ATM machine" (M stands for machine) or "PIN number" etc.

WORDWATCH "agog" = looking forward ("I'm all agog") from Old Fr. "gogue" (fun) which became "en gogue" = in good humour (keen anticipation)

WORDWATCH "fappy" = happy about being overweight--a contraction of "fat" and "happy"--is this a word? Or an excuse?

WORWATCH "ineffable" = beyond mere words (as in "ineffable joy")--the opp. "effable" means "speakable" (but should mean "able to swear at")

WORDWATCH "cloud plan(s)" = unofficial arrangement(s) that can change like the weather--if it's not in the Blackberry it's just a cloud plan

WORDWATCH "quantum" =an amount, in science a very small amount--a "quantum shift" is (speaking scientifically) a very small (not large) move

WORDWATCH "all wool and a yard wide" = (of persons) excellent, reliable--now dated US slang from an old salesman's pitch for quality cloth

WORDWATCH "Murphy's law" = from Captain Edward Murphy US Air Force (1949)--found wires not connected so got no result from his G-force tests

WORDWATCH "a Trump wave" = your own, real hair when it's been carefully styled to look as much as possible like a cheap toupee
