That is not 100% correct…better entrance stats at APP historically. Charlotte has risen lately However, both ECU and Charlotte are R1 research universities which leads eventually to normally more strenuous entrance requirements. There are 5 in NC. In addition to ECU and

If that source document is true the 24-36 teams will sign their death warrant as far as college football. They will be the whipping boys of the NFL. The remaining teams will continue to enjoy the magic of college football. Good riddance to the 24-36.

They have not dominated ECU the last 40 years. Record is 20-14 State…first half of games were all at State…24 of 34 total. Wouldn’t call that dominant.

I will say this as a native North Carolinian, the high majority of people in our state who are natives of NC do not care for the extreme expansion that has happened in the ACC. If it’s going to fall apart then my best guess is at a minimum UNC and NC State stay together, so the

You are missing the big picture of college football in my opinion. Yes, what you say is correct to some degree, but they did it being part of college football in the aggregate. If you want to separate with the top 24-50 and just play each other, have at it. You will regret your

As the saying goes in the south, “Bless their hearts”. They just don’t understand that, yes, the big brands are a crucial element, but so are the Miami of Ohio stories. It’s not all about who can win the tournament. The odds are if they left out Miami of Ohio, the replacement

No arguing there is a financial model that would work for a few elite brand name schools. However, it would be a professional league masquerading as college sports. Boring.
