All ready on Ribblemere MBU for Infant Mental Health Week starting tomorrow. We’ve spruced up our crèche area with a ‘curiosity corner’ using all natural materials 🌱🌿🍃

Postpartum psychosis (PP) is a treatable medical emergency. If a new mum seems strange, help make an urgent appointment with their doctor, midwife, health visitor or call 111. If you think there is imminent danger, call 999. With help they will recover.

💛🌟 Did you hear?! 🌟💛 We have received GOLD in our trust’s ward accreditation - again! We are so proud of our team and the service we provide to families. This accreditation status displays hours, days, years of focus, compassion and dedication towards our MBU. Amazing news🤱

Today is ‘National Relaxation Day’ and we have celebrated by opening up our own spa in our quiet lounge, and using our sensory room for a group mindfulness session 🧘‍♀️🍃☁️ so well received by staff and patients - especially on busy ward round days ✨

We had the BEST DAY EVER at the grand opening of our brand new summer house aka MINIMERE 🤩✨😍 thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us! We are sooo excited to fill this little space with memories, laughs and happy times for mums, staff and families 🏡🤍

We had some visitors on Ribblemere MBU today 🦎🐰🐹 We met Lewis the Lizard, Liqorice the Guinea Pig, Macaroni the Rabbit and a few more. It was so nice watching some of babies seeing animals for the first time 🥰 Great experience for our mums☺️
