Another amazing meeting today for our #CollaborationforChange project, which identifies reasons behind vaccine hesitancy and explores how to increase uptake across different communities, building on the experience of our community leaders. Check out: collaborationforchange.co.uk

Joining the launch of #StoriesOfResilience (Refugee Action ). Currently listening to how refugee support organisations have adapted their services to the pandemic. They do such important work for refugees, asylum seekers, undocumented migrants in the UK.

Very exciting morning speaking with @maggie_erewash, Minister for Vaccines and Public Health about Egality Health's Collaboration for Change project. Great to chat about our findings and working with community organisations to improve vaccine uptake among minoritised communities.

It breaks my heart to see how the dictatorship of the 1970s-1980s has been easily forgotten. Marcos' lead in the Philippines election shows the power of disinformation and historical amnesia. As a historian, there's a lot of work to be done. We Filipinos deserve much better.

Since finishing my refugee history PhD, I've worked w/ community orgs to improve diversity in health research. Today I join my 1st health conference #RHOConf22. Nice to see how history is part of the conversation on understanding racial disparities in health.

Starting a new role today as engagement officer at UoM Library. Happy to be back on campus, meeting new colleagues, and getting lost around the library (I only know where the history section is!)
