Very exciting morning speaking with @maggie_erewash, Minister for Vaccines and Public Health about Egality Health's Collaboration for Change project. Great to chat about our findings and working with community organisations to improve vaccine uptake among minoritised communities.

It breaks my heart to see how the dictatorship of the 1970s-1980s has been easily forgotten. Marcos' lead in the Philippines election shows the power of disinformation and historical amnesia. As a historian, there's a lot of work to be done. We Filipinos deserve much better.

Since finishing my refugee history PhD, I've worked w/ community orgs to improve diversity in health research. Today I join my 1st health conference #RHOConf22. Nice to see how history is part of the conversation on understanding racial disparities in health.
