In the case of overtimes, consider this: Each tick represents an increment of damage. Why are we removing all of them with a single spell? If DOT counters worked like this, then 5 round OTs would no longer be a downside. Spells like Fire From Above become playable again.

If mutates gave players new variations of their own spells with the design combination of both Lore spellements and arc one spellements, they might look something like this. Note, not 100% sure if this version of Deadly Minotaur is reasonable. Happy to hear your thoughts below

While its unlikely the spellement paths will look anything like these, the ideas behind them do fit well as school specific mechanics. As high pip spells, I think it does make more sense that these NOT be conditionals like the arc 1 spellements.

Keep in mind, this wouldn't be done without changes to gear. Defensive gear like Eternal or Nightmire would then gain outgoing as a base stat instead of being relied on solely from Pins.

Would you use this? Similar function to the Omen pet talents, possible solution to how enchants work in PvP? Would not allow damage enchants, but the utiltiy ones such as Aegis, Indemnity, or even Cloak.
