I'm pretty sure the problem lies in it being a "campaign" for breast cancer (a subject that could trigger body dysmorphia) and the amount of inappropriate songs that were played and people dancing to those particular songs. There's also a difference in publicity and social image.

If this song was released in 2026 and was promoted properly it would be a global hit. Like the music production, the visual concept and art direction aren't dated at all. Absolutely nobody was doing anything like this then and even now no one comes close to imagining it

It's the wrong branding. The image irene has about herself is very different from the staff's. They should give her a chance to experiment instead of pushing ideas. Irene needs more of a niche genre that suits her nature, not another trendy sound. We already know LAF did not work
