Jean-Marie-Baptiste Vianney, born in 1786, died #onthisday in 1859. Known as the ‘Curé d’Ars’, he is revered for his dedicated service to his parish resulting in a remarkable spiritual renewal. He was canonized 100 years ago in 1925 and is the patron saint of parish priests.
