greenhoustontx.gov/pressrelease20… The largest brownfield solar project in the nation is in Sunnyside. "Address[ing] historic environmental justice concerns, climate change, and economic development in underserved communities." -And- reusing a spent landfill. How awesome is that!

The Reuse Warehouse for Building Materials celebrates it's 15th Anniversary today. Since 2009, All of us Houstonians have collaborated to divert nearly 7,700 tons of reusable materials from landfills. That equals the weight of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Voila! Yee Haw!
