So many folks think you can “try harder” out of disability, yet they can’t even try harder to wear a mask. They literally found it too hard. Too inconvenient. Chronic illness is really hard and inconvenient. The difference is it’s not a choice, and for many it’s permanent.

Lots of folks shouting (correctly) about NB.1.8.1.... But y'all should also be shouting about XFG. My money, for what it's worth, is on XFG.

People have genuinely deluded themselves into thinking Covid disappeared I think that’s why people get angry when they see someone wearing a mask it bursts their bubble

Shocking that the “no science, just confidence” vibes that had experts assuredly claiming that COVID doesn’t harm children has left us in a place where #LongCOVID is now the most common chronic illness in children according to JAMA Pediatrics. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamap…

1. Please use an FFP2+ mask, such as an N95. 2. Wear a mask in ALL crowded indoor spaces if you're serious about your health and about keeping others safe. Only public transportation and baggy blue surgicals don't really make the cut World Health Organization (WHO) World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific

Covid-19, Flu, and the like are AIRBORNE and you fuckin know it ! That asks for proper respirators #N95 #FFP2 ! And for teaching people airborne viruses linger in the air for hours, so not only in crowded places, also previously occupied rooms ! Fix your drawing and message !

What on earth does it matter if it’s “crowded”? You can get it off one person, it hangs in the air for hours. And why only on transportation? And it’s NOT respiratory, we know this. It’s been FIVE YEARS, WHO.

The WHO has had 5+ years to let people know that respirators are better than baggy blue masks for the prevention of COVID, which is airborne

It's great the a WHO affiliated social media account is talking about masks. Some ways they can upgrade their messaging: - Depict the use of N95 style respirators instead of surgical masks - Don't limit their use to "crowded transportation", covid can infect us anywhere

“Dr. Kaufman, in particular, could not get over the fact that after trying seemingly everything and getting nowhere with some patients, that simply giving them ‘this little speck of dust injection’ once a week suddenly made them better.” #LongCovid healthrising.org/blog/2025/05/2…
