I mis-clicked on one of my 150 open tabs and it happened to be a tab that's been open since 2019 with a paper that has a solution to the exact research problem I've been puzzling over today. This is the moment I've been waiting for and I've decided to never close any tabs again

This paper from the Aceto lab is so wild I'm still trying to think about the implications. Cells metastasize during sleep? nature.com/articles/s4158…

I am curious what the thought process is when people who are told to prepare a “short, 5-minute presentation” of their research come to the podium with excess data slides destined for long talks. 1st talk = 15 slides, 2nd = 20, 3rd= 28(!) slides. Why?

I spent so much time 3-4 years ago writing this out every day several times a day, that it made sense to create this. Did one for prostate cancer treatment options too. Patients and relatives immediately saw their value. Imperial Urology Imperial Prostate

Today, we’re introducing a new model that eliminates accept/reject decisions. By publishing every paper with eLife reviews as a Reviewed Preprint, we plan to restore autonomy to authors, ensuring that they will be judged by what, not where, they publish. elifesciences.org/inside-elife/5…

Is it time to replace the IPSS? Recently published in Urology Gold Journal: The simple, 1-page LURN symptom index correlates strongly with the IPSS, but also detects additional symptoms including PVD (24%), UUI (13%), SUI (2%), and pain (8%) in men presenting with #BPH / #LUTS 🧵
