🧠 Neuroimaging has transformed our grasp of brain function! 📢 Ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) is taking brain imaging to a whole new level. It can capture cerebrovascular flow down to micrometer scales, providing incredible insights. 🌟 #openbci #neuro #research

Huh! Who knew DNA could be patented? The SCN1A gene (crucial in Dravet), was once patented! 🤯Can’t find any new updates but testing is now free in the US & Canada for children < 8 y! smh.com.au/national/sick-…

🧠💡Analysis day #4; CSF pulsatility in rs-fMRI can mimic neural activity! Collecting physiological data (HR, BP, capnography etc.) or even better, using multiecho is crucial to filter out noise and reveal true BOLD correlations. BTW, I'm still skeptical about brainstem studies!

I've been dreaming that the Ooi-Yeo calculator will one glorious day replace the grant "power analyses" everyone enjoys so much. ... & remember ... if you don't enjoy logistics and don't have much $ funding. It doesn't have to be BWAS. There's also PFM ... 3 volunteers might be

Imagining how Cajal saw all those neurons with his not-so-powerful microscope over a century ago. Dipping my toes into staining and home microscopy. Btw, Cajal’s ‘Advice for a Young Investigator’ is a gem!

TMS is delivered to the DLPFC in depression, aiming to modulate SGC activity But axons linking DLPFC and SGC are absent How then does TMS stimulation modulate SGC activity? Caio's work on TMS propagation in the absence of direct anatomical paths: medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
