Started summer scouting and Max Klare (Ohio State) is an early favorite. Obvious fluidity and quickness. but he's trusted in-line and occasionally dominant. With youth and a frame that doesn't look maxed out, there's a lot to put onto a great foundation.

My Early TE1 though is Georgia's Oscar Delp. I thought he could have declared last year and I probably would have had him behind only the top 2 guys. He's big, fluid, strong, dominant in-line, and exactly what the league is missing.

Another I've liked is Ole Miss' Dae'Quan Wright. A converted WR, his frame has grown nicely and he's maintained a lot of the fluidity. He's a natural pass catcher who has good feet, and has shown much more raw strength and ability in-line than you'd expect at this stage.

Despite a smaller frame, Texas' Jack Endries has a little Sam LaPorta to him. He's got to continue to emphasize technique in-line to make up for that but there's a path to being an every-down NFL TE for him. Love his route work and feel.

A potential riser, and in my view the highest ceiling, is Notre Dame's Eli Raridon. Listed last year at 6'7, 250, he's likely heavier than that and certainly plays like it. Despite the length/mass, greatness in-line, and power, he's a smooth mover with natural hands.

Weird to see Maxx Crosby off the ball like this but Will Dissly absorbs his charge and does enough to stop him from getting into the backfield.

Few situations are more difficult for the TE than when a defense is in 3-4 personnel but plays even spacing. A 3-4 "DE" is essentially a DT, and while normally they're inside the Tackle, even spacing can put them head up on the TE. Even a huge TE is giving up 30 pounds

Jason Witten Y-Choice (mostly) cutup Great look at all of his different options on the route based on coverage and leverage, and how hard he was for linebackers to match side to side when he broke against them.
