She blushed herself and turned her head. "....I do expect pancakes later."

She laughed softly and left to load the washer.

She wandered in as she looked over papers. "Smells lovely in here."

She smiled before setting her papers on the counter. "Oh, fruit and whipped cream, is it my birthday?"

"Thank you darling." Taking the plate, she sat at the table.
