RPS is aware of photo speed enforcement cameras flashing for exceeding 30 km outside of the school zone timeframe of 7 am - 7 pm & are looking into the issue.

Even if you see a flash, the Traffic Safety Unit is not issuing any tickets if you are driving the labeled speed limit.

The Regina Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person in these still images, wanted for questioning in an investigation into recent emergency scam frauds in Regina.

In the last 72 hours, RPS has investigated 5 cases of emergency scams. In some cases, fraudsters posed as police officers & the victims provided their addresses to pick up bond money.

No one will ever come to your house to pick up bond money and police officers do not do this.

The RPS Financial Crimes Unit urges you to spread the word to your elderly loved ones about a common scam circulating that targets grand parents and plays upon their emotions.

A friendly reminder to slow down in school zones 🏫🚗

Speeding in school zones is one of the biggest complaints our traffic unit receives. We have numerous constables assigned to these areas & even though you don't see us, it doesn't mean we aren't there!

During the 1st week of March, the Traffic Safety Unit conducted 96 alcohol screening tests. There was only 1 arrest and 1 license administrative suspension. RPS & SGI would like to thank responsible drivers for continuing to make the roads safer!
