toni stuffed her hands into the pockets of her serpent jacket , eyes moving to gaze at the floor beneath her feet for a moment. “who told you that it was for the best ? was it your mother ?”

toni’s features matched cheryl’s smirk , watching her for a moment. “thank you.” she grinned , eyeing cheryl as she moved closer. “sorry for what , cher ?”

toni stood , just listening as cheryl spoke. small smile on her lips. “it’s okay , cheryl. you don’t have to apologize.”
