Recently updated & clearly outlined referral guidelines for Infectious Diseases here: apps.nhslothian.scot/refhelp/guidel…. In particular issues relating to TB including asymptomatic contacts of those with active TB infection should be referred directly to TB specialist nurses, and not ID.
