Tulip Class have been reading the text 'Giraffes Can't Dance'.  Some pupils have been responding to sensory elements of the text.  Others have been commenting on what they can see using symbols or writing about the pictures.

Blossom class enjoyed a visit from Lancashire Fire Service, they learned about what the fire service do, how to stay safe in a fire and even got to see the fire truck! Thank you Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service

Students in Sixth Form V have been developing their independence and learning how to use public transport, this has included safely waiting at their stop, greeting the bus driver appropriately  and paying for their journey.

Some of our senior students have been learning Spanish words for body parts, they have been listening to spoken words and pointing to the body part, practiced saying the words and some of them have been reading the words to play a game of dominos. #internationalschoolsaward

Today we took a group of girls to take part in the 'Let Girls Play' Football Festival at Poolfoot Farm. Pupils took part in a Disney themed session and had so much fun learning new skills.

A group of our primary pupils were invited to take part in a gardening project, what a lovely afternoon they had planting and caring for the plants.

A big Red Marsh thank you to all the local businesses, community and parents who generously donated Easter eggs. Our children had a fantastic time on the last day of term, participating in an exciting Easter egg hunt, and were thrilled to receive an egg for their efforts!

We have had a fantastic start to the summer term, all our pupils have been working very hard.  Today, one of our sixth form students has started her work experience at the library. #preparationforadulthood
