If you don't have any luck getting Oasis tickets, I've still got a few left for the Building A Classroom Reading Culture sessions I'm running next term. Happy to have Wonderwall playing in the background if that helps. eventbrite.co.uk/o/jon-biddle-9…

We’ll be at Old Trafford tomorrow so we’re having our roast today. I’m about to put this lovely bit of beef in the oven! Kids are complaining that we’re having Sunday Lunch on Saturday! 😂

The boys were so excited for our first game of the season (we missed Fulham) that we have arrived 3 hours before kick off!

Well I can guess the first book off the shelves in Year 6 tomorrow. They’ve been so excited since we revealed the cover of the final Dreadwood book in June. I’m having a sneaky read before I pass it on. Thanks Farshore and Jennifer Killick

I am working in Manhattan, New York next week. I may have chance to do a tiny bit of sightseeing in the evenings. If you only had one thing to see or do in NYC what would it be?

Trying to convince my youngest that his new Y2 teacher is called Miss Carr and not Mrs Carr. His response: It is Mrs… she is a full teacher! So many questions!

In my experience, when starting with a new class, have high expectations and they’ll often step up. Have low expectations and they’ll stay right where you thought they would.
