Best negotiation move in real estate? Walking away. Simply tell the seller or their realtor, that it doesn’t work for you. And that you need to pass. In this market, more times than not, the seller will come back and want to renegotiate. Stick to your numbers. Be disciplined.

Good Afternoon to everyone except seller that think terms in contract are meaningless. I have a large holdback in the contract (suspected that the seller was going to be a turd on a few of the terms at time of possession). They won’t be getting the money before the weekend.

A good play in a market that has no huge tracts of undeveloped land? Where in-fill development is popping up around town? Buy the neighbouring property! If you have the means, it is a solid long-term play. It should be worth more to you than what others are willing to pay.

Do brokers in the US just not answer calls anymore? Instead text back some garbage and ask you things that could be resolved in a minute or two over the phone. Canadian here. Not much experience dealing with US brokers. But I don’t get it 🤷🏽‍♂️. #ReTwit
