“I miss him so much, Brea—.” His own arms wrap around her, allowing his friend to hold him during this moment of ache.

He got caught in the rain while sleeping in a bench on the square. “Oh boy, do I miss my Gelfling home.”

Ruffles his hair with the towel. “Thank you, Deet!” He is ( very proud ) of his body.

His hair is wet, he’s getting himself dry! Softest chuckle. “Lemme get rid of the water first!”

“I need a new shirt.” His old one was torn.

“It’s alright, Deet. I got into a fight with a human who tried to steal the Dual Glaive, but everything is good now.” He does have some cuts across his back.

“It’s alright! I promise. A human is much weaker than a Skeksis. They did have a knife, but I was able to fight back. And the piece of the Crystal Of Truth helped me, too.” He has some aches, but Rian doesn’t want to worry her even further.

“If that’s going to make you feel better, then it’s okay. I guess the ugly ones are on my back.” His strong physique was turned towards her, letting her have sight of the bad wounds on his back.

Rian is, indeed, a fighter. Besides almost being stolen, there were a few names said that didn’t exactly please him, and he might’ve bought the fight the humans were selling. . . But he had to protect the Dual Glaive. With a soft nod, the Gelfling sat down and just waited.

The gentleness of her lips against his skin makes Rian sigh, shaking his head gently before straightening his back the best way his wounds allow him to. “Don’t worry. . . I can take it, Deet. Stonewoods aren’t cry babies.” It’s a gentle joke, trying to ease her gentle heart.

Rian echoed a low grunt of pain, fists curling into themselves as he swallowed down any other sound of pain, shaking his head softly and closing his eyes, head laying gently to the side. His sharp jawline locked in ache. “Thank you. . . Sorry I make you worry all the time.”
