Oklahoma is running a strong second to Alabama as the state with the most women charged with pregnancy-related crimes since Roe's end. What a tragic and terrible thing for pregnant women to have to face in our state. apnews.com/article/pregna…

Climate change isn’t a tragedy, it’s a crime. Exxon scientists knew as early as the 1970s that the burning of fossil fuels would destabilize the climate and cause more extreme weather events, so executives lied about it to protect their profits. Time to make them pay.

The Infrastructure Bill pushed by Biden and Harris included a billion dollars for flood mitigation. Almost every Republican voted against it

Absolutely wild that your average boomer would rather live in a swampy hellscape that is as humid and hot as your average armpit, deal with 10 hurricanes a year, and fight off crazy wildlife, than to just deal with a tiny amount of snow.

I 100% understand the overwhelming doom of climate issues but as someone working in the environmental justice + climate mitigation field PLZZZZ DO NOT LET CLIMATE DOOMISM CONSUME YOU🥹😭

I think y’all being especially defeatist and doomy is expediting not only individualism but also indifference to world around us. There is still time. We can still fix things. I wish y’all would stop saying things like this.

depressing to see that most climate scientists stress the need for immediate action and stress that “doomerism” isn’t helpful, yet people still decide to be doomers—while citing the same data that those scientists are using to encourage proactive solutions.

Ok so you know the war on Christmas people? I fear I am a war on Halloween person bc of trunk or treats. I’m vehemently opposed to them for communities that have houses close enough to walk between. I think it’s ruining America, and I’m kind of joking but also not at all joking.

Sheldon Whitehouse Even if you had permanent DST: Winter days will still be short, dark, and cold because that's winter. No amount of clock manipulation will change that. Get rid of DST altogether, sunrise for winter workers remains normal and 8-8:30 pm sunset in summer is fine, maybe ideal.

Standard Time does not make us lose any sunlight. Winter does that. Standard Time harnesses the power of the available light to align our circadian rhythms improving our physical and mental health, productivity, safety and wellbeing. Senator Patty Murray Save Standard Time #DitchDST

Oklahoma: Vote to retain. If you let your court system become Stitt nominees, you will lose any sense of ethics your court system has left. It's not like it's a left-leaning court now by any measure. It's just not a batshit insane, kickback-hungry klan court yet.
