Shri. Shankar Nagachari has taken over as Director Technical - Engineering Services of Central Mine Planning & Design Institute. Shri. Nagachari worked in various capacities in underground and open cast mines of Western Coalfields Limited and South Eastern Coalfields Limited.

Kunti Kewat, (20) was badly injured by a wild animal. She was rushed to SECL’s Central Hospital Mandendragarh, Chhattisgarh. The medical team, led by Drs. Sanjay Singh & Kaushik Sutradhar, acted quickly to treat the neck & thyroid cartilage damage. She is now stable & recovering.
