Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will now offer recommendations on Illinois #ESSA plan

The TAC recommends the indicator “Academic Achievement” streamline the procedure reflected in the IL #ESSA plan. A focus will be on long term goals and interim targets.

The TAC recommends using mean Student Growth Percentiles (SGP) as the basis for computing academic progress for grades 3-8 in the IL accountability system. #ESSA

For the #EnglishLearner Proficiency indicator, the TAC recommends a growth to proficiency model. #ESSA
