Blues musician Robert Nighthawk from Friars Point was one of B.B. King's favorite guitarists. He had a radio show on WROX, where his group The Nighthawks performed. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1983, and you can visit his Blues Trail Marker in Friars Point.
