The state of youth baseball has really changed and many families are being misled. The initial plan we had with youth club ball has turned into something I don’t think we envisioned. Community ball needs a revival imho in the 6-11u age group. Focus on development, and fun 1st.

Playing JV football is NOT a “demotion”, or “beneath” anyone. JV football is STILL football, and is a tremendous opportunity to play a sport you love, and to get 1% better every day! Those who OWN THEIR ROLE, will often find themselves playing up, sooner than they may realize!

The Football Jamboree will be at Mountaineer Stadium on Friday, August 18 at 7:00pm. Teams will include Mt. Vernon, McDonald County, Neosho and Forsyth.

Due to extreme heat, kickoff for the Mt. Vernon Varsity Football game at McDonald County on 8/25 has been moved to 8:00pm.
