Today, we remember and honor Sgt. 1st Class Jay L. Everett. On July 25, 1969, Everett, a counterintelligence special agent with the 135th MI Group, was killed in Pleiku Province, Vietnam, when the UH-1H helicopter he was a passenger in crashed into Dragon Mountain in heavy fog.
