Many focus on getting physically fit in the new year but it’s also important to get mentally/emotionally fit. 1. Take a daily gratitude walk. 2. Complain less and focus more on solutions. 3. See challenges as opportunities to grow. 4. Encourage yourself 5. Pray/meditate

I love this classroom poster signaling the idea that very few people master new learning immediately. Mistakes are an inherent part of the learning process and should be acknowledged as opportunities to improve, not criticized as faults to be (down) graded.

It’s not a leap of fear. It’s called a "leap of faith" for a reason. No one is going to push you over the chasm of struggle to the life that you want. God will nudge you but you must take the leap. It starts in your mind and then your actions with trust, determination and faith.

For me, EQs serve two purposes: 1) to help teachers frame and focus the curriculum and their teaching around "big ideas" of both content and process; and 2) to engage learners in actively "making meaning" of those important ideas. Accordingly, EQs should be explored over time!

5 Ways to Overcome Bad Days 1. Pray 2. Remind yourself it’s temporary and tomorrow is a new day. 3. Find someone to help. You’ll forget about your own problems. 4. Look at your challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. 5. Believe that the best is yet to come.
