Interesting new paper. I remain skeptical that the data shows any obvious pattern without the imposed spiral arm race tracks. Even if we do see some maser or cluster segments, how they connect into larger structures is not nearly as obvious as some people claim.

Been trying this out, off and on. Could use more people with #astronomy and #space interests.
