Yesterday we lost two peacemakers to this insidious disease. May they rest easy in God’s embrace. LAPD Officer Philip Sudario and LASO Deputy Santiago Carrillo.

Thank you to the Board of Supervisors for naming the OC Sheriff, CA training facility the "Sandra Hutchens Regional Law Enforcement Training Center." As deputies learn the best practices of our profession it is fitting they do so at a placed named for one of our profession's best.

On Dec 3rd, Sgt. Richard Houston of the Mesquite Police Department - Texas was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance in a parking lot. Sgt. Houston was a 21 year veteran of the department and is survived by his wife and his three children. #officerdown #texas

Bad experience Outback Steakhouse in Westminster last week. My wife subjected to verbal abuse by over-served drunk. Multiple complaints to manager didn’t handle it. Things went downhill and we left. Emailed company a week ago, no response! Outback Steakhouse chose a drunk’s business over ours.

A second officer was injured and is in stable condition. Officer Vella leaves behind a wife and daughter. He served the community of Huntington Beach with honor and dignity. Please join us in extending prayers to Officer Vella's family. (2 of 3)
