This ‘theory’ is a rip off of Gore Vidal’s observation that between the ages of 8 and 15, the media you engage with (movies, books, etc) give you the material that influences who you become. Of course, Vidal didn’t shrink it to ‘one piece’ or discuss ‘worldviews’. Sigh.
